Persuasion is
the key to success for today's sales people, leaders and
organizations.
Today's sales
people and managers need to earn the support of people both inside
and outside the organization as well as the prospect to whom they
sell. This is regardless of whether they are staff, customers,
suppliers, regulators, financiers, or community groups.
Yet,
few can persuade well. Some merely give information using the old
school "features and benefits" selling and create an
information overloaded audience. In an information age they forget
people already have too much to examine.
If
you are only appealing to reason to persuade you are not selling to
the heart of the individual.
The
result is half steps in success and never knowing how to repeat a
your success.
Entire
companies can fail on this single point. All you have to do is look
at the number of business that close down because they could not
speak to the emotions of their market.
Because
of this thousands of people are turning down products and services
they desperately need. Why? Because they are failing to present to
the individuals deepest need.
Anyone
can learn persuasion and apply it in any situation. You can do it
through out your organization.
By
mastering persuasion you will get more done, earn a higher income,
enlist the help of others and your company will prosper. You'll be
free from worry about money.
Effective
persuasion is done all the time by the skilled few who are true
leaders. Executives, sales professionals, politicians and clergy can
do it and so can you.
Sadly the
rest are left behind trying to "get by."
The
ability to persuade and sell ideas is the greatest skill you
can learn right now. I know you can learn this because I've taught it
to thousands. When you learn the art of persuasion you will always
have the upper hand.
This will
make you a leader. And an every level persuasion will inspire those
around you to change and take action.
You will lead when you
present ideas that touch the heart of your prospect. And they in turn
will take on your ideals because it speaks to them at their level
.
You can do this by taking
persuasion skills into the following areas:
Rapport:
How to connect on a deep level with your audience or prospect.
Rapport is a responsiveness with the people whom you
work.
Understanding: Understanding means getting into
the head of your prospect or audience. Understanding is knowing how
they make decisions. Understanding means knowing exactly
what motivates them to make the decision or
purchase you are offering.
Application: This is more
than just having an intellectual understand of persuasion skill but
easily being able to put them in practice.
Integration :
Making this not just a skill but going to "the third level"
of applying everything you know so that it becomes a natural part of
who you are. At this level persuasion becomes natural.
Is
this new?
No. The ability to persuade has been around since
man began to form groups to survive in primitive environments. But
the technology of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Social Influence
have only recently been able to codify and explain it is precise
detail.
The training to learn that detail and being it
into your life is what I can offer.
Your agenda often
full and your time is short. This is a skill everyone needs, but as a
sales person, this skill is your life blood.
